The showroom is the constant. The calendar is why people come back.
Mixers on the roof deck, teardown nights on the demo floor, category deep-dives and visiting country delegations. Free for registered builders, included for exhibiting suppliers.
2027 calendar — provisional
Dates below are the planned programme for our first year and will firm up as opening confirms. Registered builders get the confirmed date and a calendar invite for anything they've asked to be notified about.
14 events planned
Founding Supplier Night
The first cohort of exhibitors meets the first cohort of registered builders. Short introductions from each supplier, then two hours of the only networking format that has ever worked: standing around a table with the parts on it.
Teardown Night: Six-Axis Arms
Three arms from three manufacturers, opened up on the bench side by side. Drivetrain, cable routing, encoder placement and thermal design compared in public, with the suppliers in the room to defend their choices.
Category Deep-Dive: Harmonic & Cycloidal Drives
Every reducer supplier on the floor, one afternoon, with duty curves and backlash rigs set up for hands-on comparison. Aimed squarely at robotics teams staring down a 26-week lead time.
Taiwan Delegation Week
A visiting group of Taiwanese precision-component manufacturers takes over the second-floor demo bays for a week — motion, optics, connectors and machining, with engineers rather than sales staff on the stands.
AI Hardware: Power & Thermal
Cold plates, busbars, high-current connectors and supplies with honest derating curves. For anyone putting kilowatts into a chassis and hoping it survives August.
Spring Mixer
The quarterly mixer on the roof, with the skyline doing the heavy lifting. Free for registered builders and included for exhibiting suppliers.
Medical Device Sourcing Clinic
ISO 13485 assemblers, cleanroom molders and biocompatible material suppliers, plus a working session on change-notification agreements and lot traceability. Private rooms bookable on the day.
Teardown Night: Consumer Devices
Three shipping consumer products opened up: display stack, switch feel, molding, finishing and the decisions that made them feel expensive or cheap.
Drones & Mobility: Propulsion and Packs
Thrust stands on the roof terrace, pack suppliers and BMS vendors inside, and an honest session on UN38.3 testing and shipping classification.
Automation Retrofit Day
Bring the twenty-year-old component you need to replace. Drive, sensor, safety and pneumatics suppliers spend the day finding drop-in equivalents across the floor.
Autumn Mixer & Directory Update
The quarterly mixer, plus introductions from every supplier who joined the floor since spring.
Japan & Korea Delegation Week
Precision motion, sensing and optics manufacturers from Japan and South Korea take the demo bays for the week, with technical staff on the stands.
Founders' Sourcing Bootcamp
A half-day for first-time hardware founders: reading a quote, what MOQ and NRE actually mean, how to run a second-source strategy, and how not to get burned on tooling ownership.
Year-End Supplier Night
The last event of the year. Every exhibitor, every registered builder, and a look at what is joining the floor in 2028.
Six things we run, and why.
Mixers
Quarterly, on the roof deck. Suppliers and builders in the same room with the parts on the table. The only networking format that reliably works.
Teardown nights
Three competing products opened on the bench, in public, with the suppliers present. Nothing teaches a sourcing decision faster.
Category deep-dives
One component category, every supplier on the floor who covers it, one afternoon of hands-on comparison.
Sourcing clinics
Working sessions on the paperwork side: quality agreements, traceability, compliance, retrofit matching.
Country delegations
A visiting group of manufacturers takes the demo bays for a week, with engineers rather than sales staff on the stands.
Founder workshops
Half-days for first-time hardware founders on quotes, MOQ, NRE, tooling ownership and second-sourcing.
