What SFbei is

A trade show
that never ends.

Trade shows work. The problem is that they last three days, happen once a year, and are usually six thousand miles away. You fly home with a tote bag of catalogs and a jet-lagged memory of booth 4C.

SFbei keeps the part that works — thousands of real products on real shelves, next to the people who make them — and leaves it running every day of the year, in the middle of San Francisco.

An engineer walks in on a Tuesday with a bracket that needs a motor and leaves with three quotes in motion. A purchasing manager compares six vendors' connectors by picking them up. That is the whole idea.

How a visit works

Walk in with a problem. Leave with a supplier.

01

Walk in

Free for builders once you've pre-registered. No appointment, no badge fee, no booth staff blocking the aisle.

02

Touch the inventory

Physical displays, sample units, catalogs and spec sheets. Pick it up, measure it, feel the detent on the switch.

03

We introduce you

Our staff connect you to the right person at the supplier — right contact, right time zone, right language.

04

You deal direct

Quotes, samples, terms and POs happen between you and the supplier. No markup, no middleman, no cut.

The rule that makes it work

Nothing is sold at SFbei.

No cash register. No order desk. No inventory changing hands — and no commission on anything that happens afterwards.

SFbei is a discovery layer, not a distributor. Suppliers showcase what they make, buyers evaluate it in person, and the two parties transact directly on their own terms.

That is what keeps the floor honest. A supplier earns their placement by having the better product — not the better margin split with us.

On the floor

From the screw
to the six-axis arm.

Components and systems for robotics, AI hardware, automation and general industrial supply — displayed by suppliers from Shenzhen to Stuttgart to San Jose.

What's on

Mixers, teardowns
and supplier nights.

The showroom is the constant; the calendar is what makes people come back. Every month we run something on the roof deck or the demo floor — a country delegation, a category deep-dive, a teardown night where three companies open up a competitor's product together.

Free for registered builders. Included for exhibiting suppliers.

Two ways in

Suppliers exhibit.
Builders browse free.

One side pays for a shelf and gets a permanent US presence. The other side walks in free, forever, and gets introduced to whoever makes the part they need. Neither side pays us a commission.
