These terms govern your use of sfbei.com. Using the site means you accept them. Separate written agreements govern supplier placement and access to the building; where they conflict with this page, the signed agreement wins.

What this website is

An information site about the SFbei showroom at 1070 Bryant Street, San Francisco, and a way to apply to exhibit, register to visit, or contact us. It is not a shop. You cannot buy anything here and neither can anyone else — nothing is sold or bought at SFbei, online or on the floor.

No transaction, no brokerage

SFbei is a discovery and exhibition venue. We are not a distributor, importer of record, sales agent, broker or party to any transaction between a visitor and a supplier. Any quote, purchase order, contract, shipment or payment is strictly between you and that supplier, on terms you agree with them. We take no commission and receive no share of any transaction.

Supplier information and the directory

Listings, specifications, certifications, capacities, lead times and MOQs shown on this site are provided by suppliers. We review applications for provenance and plausibility, but we do not independently verify every claim and we do not warrant their accuracy. Do your own due diligence before you place an order. A listing is not an endorsement, a recommendation or a guarantee of fitness for your application.

Applications and registrations

Submitting a supplier application or builder registration is a request, not a contract. We may accept or decline any application at our discretion, and we may withdraw access if the information you gave us turns out to be untrue. Access to the building, when it opens, will be subject to the site rules in force at the time.

Forward-looking statements

This site describes a building under fit-out and a programme that has not yet run. Opening dates, floor plans, facilities, event dates and supplier listings are current intentions and may change. Visualisations shown in the gallery are design renderings of 1070 Bryant, not photographs of a completed space, and are labelled as such.

Acceptable use

• Don't submit false information through any form on this site.
• Don't scrape, harvest or systematically extract the directory or contact details.
• Don't attempt to interfere with, probe or overload the site or its infrastructure.
• Don't use the site to send spam, malware or anything unlawful.

We rate-limit form submissions and block abusive traffic.

Intellectual property

The site's text, design, code, photography and visualisations are owned by SFbei or licensed to us. The SFbei name and mark are ours. Supplier names, logos and product images belong to those suppliers. You may quote or link to us with attribution; you may not republish substantial parts of the site or present our material as your own.

Third-party links

We link to supplier websites, mapping services and other third parties. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.

Disclaimer and liability

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SFbei is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of this site or from any dealing with a supplier you found through it. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify SFbei against claims arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and the state and federal courts located in San Francisco County have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
