- Get the connector supplier and the cable-assembly house talking on the same visit.
- Bring your thermal budget — cold-plate suppliers can sanity-check it across the bench.
- Check EMC gasketing and enclosure finishing together; they interact more than people expect.
- Confirm UL/IEC files exist for the exact part number, not the family.
